Newcastle College.
After a competitive pitch we were appointed by NCG in 2017, and the first college we worked with was Newcastle College, before we even considered the look and feel of their new digital home, we wanted to understand their users first. We hosted a series of focus groups with their year 1 and year 2 students, apprentices, year 11 students from feeder schools, local employers and also their staff to gain a greater understanding of what they looked for in a college website.
Based on in-depth research we developed user journeys for each of their different audiences and created a modular design that allowed pages to be created quickly and easily by Newcastle Colleges in house teams.
