MyCity Salford

Salford Council wanted to create a community hub that offered relevant content, informational services to their residents and business community through a bespoke digital platform.

Working in partnership with Salford Council and the mayor of Salford, Lda was appointed to develop the offering and strategy behind the site, the naming solution, user journeys, IA & UX, iconography, accessible and responsive design and user engagement and testing throughout the process. However, before we could start the delivery, we needed to know everything we could about the audiences and what they wanted from this new digital platform.

We spent a few weeks attending community groups across all walks of life, from residents to businesses, council workers to stakeholders, ensuring all the recommendations that we made, were underpinned by research and the needs and desires of this community.
